About Me

Professional Headshot 11.2017

I am Inupiaq and Cuban raised here in Anchorage, Alaska. Our family is busy with 3 children. We love to spend time in nature fishing and smoking salmon, as well as picking and eating berries. During the fall and winter I enjoy beading, sewing and playing in the snow.

I earned my  Master’s of Science in Counseling Psychology from Alaska Pacific University. I have over 12 years experience in mental health, working with children and adults in various settings (psychiatric emergency, primary care and residential treatment). I provide brief individual and family counseling for children and adults. My specialties include trauma, grief/loss, child/adolescent development, relationship issues, and stage of life adjustment. If any of these issues reflect areas you  would like to work on, please contact me.
